BRUNSWICK, Maine — A house at 613 River Rd. in Brunswick is a total loss after a fire Monday afternoon.
Brunswick Fire Chief Ken Brillant said no one was home when crews arrived at the two-story home. He said the house was being renovated, which caused the fire to spread.
The fire was called in by a passerby, according to Brillant.
The fire department will investigate the cause of the fire once all flames are out.
At least six other towns responded to this incident, Brillant said.
