HERMON, Maine — A missing 85-year-old woman from Hermon has been safely located after a Silver Alert was issued Wednesday afternoon.
The 85-year-old woman had last been seen at about 11 a.m., when she left her home on Newburgh Road walking in an unknown direction, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said in a news release.
Deputies with the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office said Collins may have taken a bus, because the latest "ping" from her phone was apparently off Maguire Road in Kennebunk.
The woman was reported to suffer from cognitive issues.
