BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Labor Day is known as the unofficial end of the summer season.
No one is ready to say goodbye to warm weather, but everyone is ready to take advantage of the three-day weekend and enjoy the last few days of summer.
There are plenty of events going on locally. Steely Dan will be playing at the Waterfront Friday, August 29th. Country band Lady Antebellum will take the same stage on Saturday, August 30th. Then another country start, Jason Aldean, will rock the Waterfront Sunday, August 31st to close out the weekend. Doors open at 6pm for each show.
There are also several fairs and festivals going on now through Labor Day, September 1st.
