BANGOR, Maine — One person has been brought to the hospital with an apparent gunshot injury after police responded to a call in Bangor early Tuesday.
Bangor police said they responded to a residence on Highland Avenue around 4:20 a.m. after receiving a call about an altercation, according to a news release from the department.
When police arrived, they found what they described as a male with an apparent gunshot injury. That person was brought to a nearby hospital, but their condition remains unknown.
The age and identity of the person injured has not yet been released.
Bangor police said in the release that crews investigating the incident would be at the scene to gather evidence.
