BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Bangor will soon be the home of Maine's first Chik-fil-A, if plans follow through.
The fast-food chain has plans to open a location at the Bangor Mall. An agreement is still being finalized but, according to mall management, a site plan has been developed.
Bangor's Chik-fil-A would be located across from the Chipotle on Stillwater Avenue and have a driveway leading to the Bangor Mall Boulevard.
Mall officials do not have a timeline for its construction.
Although one mall restaurant is opening another is closing. The owner of the Arby's says he's ready to retire but was unable to sell his business.
That restaurant will close Friday
