BANGOR, Maine — A Brewer man is hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Bangor Monday evening.
Shortly before 5:30 p.m. Monday, Bangor police and fire crews received a report about a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on York Street, the Bangor Police Department said in a news release.
Police and fire crews responded to the scene and discovered an 89-year-old Brewer man who had been struck by a vehicle that was being driven by a 79-year-old Bangor man, the release said.
Police said the pedestrian was taken to an area hospital where he remains in "stable condition."
No additional details were released.
