PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Uh-oh. Looks like Bangor Police Department's "Duck of Justice" is a prime suspect in an ongoing Portland Police investigation.
Portland police posted to their Facebook page on Wednesday stating one of their officers was "targeted in a deliberate, unprovoked aerial bombardment."
Police say the suspect has been described as a mallard like creature and was last seen flying north up the Maine Turnpike, heading towards Bangor.
After following several leads and reviewing a photo line-up, Portland police believe the culprit "works" for the Bangor Police Department.
Bangor police responded to the allegation saying, " The DOJ has several physical impairments that make it impossible to fly to or from Portland, Maine. The DOJ would never assault a fellow law enforcement officer, especially any member of the well respected Portland Maine Police Department." Read their full comment here!
Looks like Duck of Justice might need a good lawyer.
