BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Bangor Police have arrested a man for assualt against a child.
On March 18, the Bangor Police Department received a report of a 1-year-old child who had been hospitalized with a suspicious injury. It was determined that the child had suffered a non-life threatening injury to the back of his head, which caused significant bruising.
Detective Morrill worked in conjunction with a DHHS Child Protective case worker as well as Dr. Ricci of the Spurwink Child Abuse Clinic to try and determine how the child was injured.
