WATERVILLE, Maine — A Waterville police officer was brought to a hospital after being involved in a crash Monday afternoon, according to the Winslow Police Department.
The crash happened at the intersection of West River Road and Kennedy Memorial Drive in Waterville near a CVS location.
Winslow police told NEWS CENTER Maine four cars were involved in the crash, including a Waterville police cruiser. The officer was reportedly taken to a hospital and their condition is unknown at this time.
The crash resulted in a road closure which has since cleared.
Maine State Police responded to the scene to assist, according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss. Winslow police said they are investigating the crash as it involved a Waterville officer.
