State Police have charged five teenagers, as well as the man police say provided alcohol to the group of boys.

Officials say the group smashed windows at three houses in Chelsea and Augusta. Several mailboxes and two vehicles were also damaged. Police say most of the damage was caused by cement blocks and gardening equipment being thrown through the windows.

Nathaniel Thibeau of Randolph and Spencer King of Gardiner, both 18, were charged with aggravated criminal mischief. Three others were also charged, but their names were not released because they are minors. Police also charged 21-year-old Patrick Simmons of Gardiner for providing alcohol to minors.
