GORHAM, Maine — A roughly 100-pound piece of landing gear from an airplane fell from the sky and landed right on the 7th fairway at the Gorham Country Club on Wednesday.
Gorham police said it came from a small private plane.
Police also said no one was hurt, and the plane later landed safely on its belly. in New York.
The pilot was not hurt.
