BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The man accused of going on a shooting rampage in northern Maine in July has been indicted in a Penobscot County court.

Anthony Lord is facing charges of intentional or knowing murder, aggravated assault with a firearm, three counts of reckless conduct with a firearm and eluding an officer. These charges are for the crimes that occurred in Penobscot County - several of the other shootings and one of the murders occurred in Aroostook County, which has not indicted Lord yet.

Police said he shot five people, two of whom died. The Penobscot County murder charge is for Kevin Tozier of Lee. Police said Lord went to a woodlot in Lee, shot 58-year-old Tozier and 54-year-old Clayton McCarthy were shot. Police said after the shooting, Lord stole a truck from the woodlot, which was seen leaving the scene.

Lord allegedly shot Kyle Hewitt, boyfriend of Brittany Irish, and kidnapped Irish. He also shot Irish's mother, Kim, said police. Police said Calton Eddy happened upon the Irish home and Lord shot him as well. Police apprehended Lord in Houlton.

The state previously said it was looking to consolidate the charges from the two counties.

The charges of murder and kidnapping will be presented to an Aroostook County grand jury in September.
