WISCASSET, Maine — The Maine Lottery announced Thursday that a winning Megabucks ticket worth $3.2 million was sold at the Wiscasset Quick Stop in Wiscasset for the drawing held October 28.
The winner will have the choice of taking $3.2 million paid out over 29 years, or a one-time lump sum payment of $2.5 million.
The winning numbers were 02-09-16-27-30 Megaball 05. Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.
The store will receive a $30,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
“It’s always exciting when we have a jackpot winner in Maine but having someone win big during these challenging times makes it that much better.” Michael Boardman, deputy director of lottery operations for the Maine Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages & Lottery Operations, said.
