3 arrested for series of armed robberies in Biddeford

Over the course of the last two weeks Patrol Officers, Detectives, and SCU have been investigating a series of armed robberies in Biddeford.

BIDDEFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Over the course of the last two weeks Patrol Officers, Detectives, and SCU have been investigating a series of armed robberies in Biddeford, which have involved several local businesses including variety stores and pizza delivery drivers.

On Thursday, April 9th, Patrol Officers caught a suspect fleeing from a robbery at the Super Sub Shop on Jefferson Street.

Michael Constabile, 25, was taken into custody as he fled the area first on a bicycle and then on foot. Constabile was booked at Biddeford PD and then transported to York County Jail.

Police knew Constabile had not acted alone during some of these crimes and the investigation continued, which lead to the execution of a search warrant on Friday April 10th at 84 High Street.

Erik Robinson, 31, was later arrested and booked at Biddeford PD and then transported to York County Jail.

On Tuesday April 14, SCU arrested Justin Haycock, 25, of Biddeford charging him with Robbery and two counts of violation of conditional release.
