PORTLAND, Maine — Long before Americans started spending an unprecedented amount of time sheltering in their homes, they’d started to realize they had an awful lot of stuff they didn’t need. Marie Kondo struck gold when she tapped into that vein a few years ago with her book, “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up,” which not only sold millions of copies around the world, but is even credited with boosting sales of shredders. What’s even more rewarding than getting rid of clutter is getting rid of clutter and making some cash off what you unload.
