DETAILS: Midcoast indie folk-rock duo The Ballroom Thieves will be playing songs from their new album “Sundust” during a show at First Parish Unitarian Church in Portland. The band took part in the Sandy River Music Festival in Farmington last weekend and has a pair of shows in Massachusetts following the Portland appearance. Based in Maine, The Ballroom Thieves tour nationally and have played on the main stage at the esteemed Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island.

DETAILS: John Gorka has been a staple in folk and singer-songwriter circles since about 1987. He's a storyteller with charm, poignancy, a sense of humor, and a distinct singing voice. I love him!

DETAILS: Boston-based musician Eric Gould loves both artists and is the bandleader of a Prince/Bowie tribute coming to Portland on Saturday. The band is a revolving lineup of players from all over the country.

DETAILS: Andy Summers is the guitar player from The Police and he’s a prolific photographer. The show in Waldoboro will be a multi-media experience with music and visuals.
