For a while, it looked like Robert Mellon was going to be a professional baseball player. Then he pivoted and became an opera singer. Now he does a little of both as an opera singer and an umpire.
He's in Maine to perform at the PORTopera and while here sang the national anthem at a Portland Sea Dogs game.
