PORTLAND, Maine — Portland native Lyle Divinsky’s music career has taken him from Portland, Maine to Portland, Oregon, and back again, with stops in California and Colorado along the way. He’s performed solo and in bands, most notably in The Motet during his time in Colorado.
Now, he’s getting ready to start a new chapter in his career. Divinsky is moving to Nashville, where he’ll focus on writing music and being a session musician while continuing his solo career.
Before he packs up and heads south, he has two “Farewell to Maine” shows at One Longfellow Square in Portland on Thursday, Dec. 28, and Friday, Dec. 29.
And, of course, he had to stop by the 207 studio to play for us.
