OGUNQUIT, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Pizza and Chinese are two types of food that you think of when you want delivery. Probably not sea food though and especially not lobster, but here's a business in Ogunquit that had a successful season doing just that.
At the beginning of the year owner of Perkins Cove Lobster Pound, Josh Audet, decided to take his business to the streets. Using mopeds to deliver lobster to the door step of residents and visitors in Ogunquit.
" Why don't we just put a komen cooler on the back of a moped and just bring them around town so people don't have to fight the traffic," suggested Audet's father.
The lobsters in the cooler aren't just fresh, but also have the option of coming to you hot and ready to eat. A convenience that Pierre and Lilliane Belanger from Montreal, Quebec enjoy at their summer home on the coast.
" They're hot and warm and in the plate and that's just fine by us," said Pierre Belanger.
The lobsters that Josh delivers are all caught by him off of Perkins Cove. He often spends as many as ten hours a day on the lobster boat collecting his catches. To find out more about Perkins Cove Lobster Pound visit their website.
