SHOW: Lizzie No

DETAILS: Heck yes to Lizzie No! Lizzie is a genre-defying singer-songwriter, harpist, and guitarist and her show at SPACE in Portland on Saturday is her first time playing in Maine. Her new album is called "Halfsies."

SHOW: Caribbean Nights

WHEN & WHERE: 7 p.m. Saturday, April 6 @ The Boothbay Opera House

DETAILS: This has been happening for many years at the BOH and from what I’ve heard, The Pan Fried Steel Band puts on a heck of a show, and the venue is decked out like a beach. Flip-flops and Hawaiian shirts are encouraged.

DETAILS: Ruthie Foster is a four-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter who mixes a wide palette of American song forms, from gospel and blues to jazz, folk, and soul. The veteran blues artist has pushed her boundaries with her latest album "Healing Time," the latest jewel in Foster’s accomplished career, which includes collaborations with fellow luminaries like Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks.
