In its November issue “Down East” magazine looks at how amateur astronomers throw viewing parties, how to get better photos of the night sky, and where to go in the state to escape the ambient artificial light that can ruin your stargazing.
Editor-in-Chief Will Grunewald covered these topics for us as well as a brief history of Maine boatbuilding and the future of Sears Island as—maybe—a wind-energy port. Watch our conversation to learn more.
