PORTLAND, Maine — For more than twenty years, Jeff Burchstead has been traveling around Maine shearing sheep.
It’s a line of work one doesn’t just dabble in. If you don’t know what you’re doing, you’ll get cut, the sheep will get cut, or the sheep might deliver a kick that’ll leave a mark.
In the March issue of “Down East” Editor-in-Chief Will Grunewald wrote about Burchstead and his work.
Grunewald joined us on 207 to talk about that article and others, including a look at life in Maine’s small towns.
