PORTLAND, Maine — Maine has plenty of bands, but there’s only one like "The Fogcutters." It bills itself as a big band and that’s not hype.
Consider just a couple of numbers. There are nineteen musicians and singers in the band. Six of them play the saxophone. Where else can you find a band with six saxophonists?

The show will also feature new material, something longtime member Brian Graham is excited about.
“We are very lucky,” he said. “We have great band members that show up. They respond. When we tell them what we need, they do it. We put all these brand-new songs in front of them and they read them like they’ve been playing them for years.”
