Griffin William Sherry shares new music from secret recording session

He’s most recognizable as the frontman of the Maine band The Ghost of Paul Revere. These days, Griffin William Sherry is still playing music, but with new bandmates.

PORTLAND, Maine — He is most recognizable as the frontman of The Ghost of Paul Revere. But after the band called it quits last spring, Griffin William Sherry has continued on his own music path with new bandmates.

Sherry stopped by the 207 studio to share new music, including songs from his secret recording session at Sun Tiki Studios. That self-titled EP features four new songs with bandmates Chuck Gagne, Spencer Albee, and McCrea Hathaway.

"Last year has kind of been a year I've fallen back in love with telling stories," Sherry said. "It's a balance of looking inward and then also trying to tell something that is bigger than yourself."

You can catch Griffin William Sherry and his band at the Sandy River Music Festival in Farmington this Memorial Day weekend.

Check out the full 207 segment above to hear Sherry's song "Reflections," learn more about what he has been working on, and find out why The Ghost of Paul Revere fans have something to look forward to this summer.
