PORTLAND, Maine — If you're looking for another reason to get out of the house and enjoy some holiday magic, look no further than "Christmas with Kennerly: Home for the Holidays" at Merrill Auditorium in Portland.
The annual tradition combines the rich sounds of the Kotzschmar Organ and Maine vocalists. This year, Kennerly will be joined on stage by Horizon Voices, a local, performance-based music education program.
"I am giddy with excitement at this year's 'Christmas with Kennerley,'" James Kennerley said in a release. "Music provides much-needed light, beauty, and healing for our communities and the world. This Christmas, we can share the spirit of holiday music again! The 7,101 pipes of the Kotzschmar Memorial Organ have been thrilling audiences for over 110 years, and we are excited to present this fun-packed family favorite with some amazing guest performers. I can't wait!"
NEWS CENTER Maine's Amanda Hill will be performing a reading at the concert.
The show starts at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19. Tickets are still available. Watch the video above to learn more about the concert.
