PORTLAND, Maine — Karl Ramsdell lives in Old Orchard Beach, but his love for capturing Maine's landscape and wildlife takes him all over the state.
Karl's photographs have captured the attention of people around the world. He stopped by the 207 studio to share some of his 'best of Summer' photos with us. They include a mesmerizing shot of a dog popping a bubble, stoic shots of eagles, lackadaisical seals on beds of kelp and more.
"Sometimes I don't get anything for days on end and then some days I get a shot like that and the excitement and the anticipation of getting a shot like that is what keeps me going every day. I love it." Ramsdell said.
Check out the segment above for a full look at Karl's work and see how his love for photography has already inspired a 12-year-old to pick up a camera.
