*UPDATE 10/31 7:45p – The attorney for the 17-year-old boy confirmed to NEWS CENTER Monday night that his client's name, the suspect, is Andrew Balcer.
He also confirmed that Andrew's parents are the two deceased. It is still unclear whether both were biological parents of Andrew.
The attorney said Andrew will be in court tomorrow in Augusta at 2:30 p.m.
*UPDATE 10/31 3:50p – In a press conference late Monday afternoon, McCausland said a 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the double homicide in Winthrop this morning. The victims have been identified as Ali and Tony Balcer.
WINTHROP, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- State police are investigating two deaths in the town of Winthrop this morning.
Spokesperson Steve McCausland says the bodies were found inside of a home on Pine Knoll Road overnight. State police and Winthrop police are investigating.
