(NEWS CENTER) -- Justin Shrair joined the NEWS CENTER team in May of 2015. He is thrilled to call Bangor home while reporting on the stories and issues that matter to the people of Maine.
After growing up in a small town in Massachusetts, he attended Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island where he majored in Media Communication and minored in Theater. He then attended Boston University where he received a Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism.
During his time at Roger Williams University, he worked in the radio industry and interned twice for ABC 40 FOX 6 Springfield (which is now "Western Mass News") in Springfield, Massachusetts. During his time at Boston University, Justin interned for Somerville Neighborhood News, in Somerville, Massachusetts and for Newton News in Newton, Massachusetts. He also co-anchored and was an executive producer for Boston University's live television morning show, "Good Morning BU".
During his free time, he loves singing, volunteering, participating in mud runs and attending concerts.
