Four men sought in Lyman home invasion

LYMAN, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- State police say they have arrested four people after a group of five people were held at gunpoint during a home invasion in Lyman last week.

Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesperson Steve McCausland said the arrests include 22-year-old Xavier Watson of Brentwood, NH, 20-year-old Andre Thomas, Lawrence, MA, 19-year-old Vincent Casazza from Newmarket, MA and 23-year-old Reynan Mora of Lowell.

McCausland said one person at the house was sexually assaulted.

Of the five people in the home two were from the same family. The other three people included two tenants and a friend of the homeowners daughter.

Officials said the suspects stole guns, cash, medical marijuana and electronics from the Mast Road home.

The suspects are all facing robbery, burglary, and theft of firearm charges. Watson is being charged with aggravated assault and unlawful sexual contact.

McCausland said three of the men are being held in New Hampshire jails. Mora was arrested in Massachusetts with the assistance of the Massachusetts State Police.

Neighbor Damien McDonagh was surprised to hear about the incident so long after it happened. "I can't believe that if it happened on Friday, why are we only hearing about it now?"

"It makes us nervous... You don't come to this road by accident. There's a reason to come here, so we were thinking that those folks had to know something." said another neighbor, Bruce Fearon.

Spokesperson Steve McCausland said items from the home invasion were found at Mora's residence.

Extradition proceedings will now begin to return the four men back to Maine.

Police continue to investigate the crime.
