(NEWS CENTER) -- In a very busy week politically on both the national and local levels, Phil Harriman and Ethan Strimling break down a couple of the bigger issues.
This week some serious allegations were levied against the Governor. Speaker Mark Eves says the Governor blackmailed Good Will-Hinckley, which had just hired him, to break their contract and fire Eves. Eves says the Governor threatened to withhold $500,000 in annual funding if they did not do as he demanded. The Governor has not denied the allegation and has publicly declared his opposition to the hiring of Eves, both in writing and verbally. This conflict has led to some legislators saying that impeachment proceedings should begin against the Governor. Phil and Ethan spend the entire first segment devoted to this topic since it's a lot to break down in only a few minutes.
Then for a final round of Political Brew with Jackie, the boys play her favorite game of "Smart or Not Smart". They also give their goodbyes and present her with a special gift.
Pat Callaghan will be the new host of Political Brew. Catch them on-air next Sunday morning on the weekend edition of the Morning Report.
