HOLLIS, Maine — A second suspect has been arrested in a string of robberies in York County.
Kyle Allman, 37, of Hollis was arrested at a home on George Connors Road in Hollis after York County Sheriff's Office detectives executed a search warrant.
The warrant was part of the ongoing investigation into a bank robbery June 12 at the Gorham Savings Bank in Waterboro, the sheriff's office said in a social media post. Officials said the robbery appeared similar to another one that happened June 7 at the Main Street Variety store in Buxton.
Allman's arrest comes after Timothy Riley, 41, of Westbrook was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of robbery, felon in possession of a firearm, eluding officers, and a probation violation.
As officials were about to conduct a search of the home, Allman exited the home and was arrested without incident on an outstanding warrant charging robbery from the Buxton Police Department for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery at the Main Street Variety store in Buxton, the post stated.
Allman was taken to the York County Jail, where his bail has been set at $200,000, according to the sheriff's office.
