Maine State Police looking for tips 51 years after teen was last seen

PORTER, Maine — Wednesday marks 51 years since 14-year-old Roger Day was last seen at his home in Porter. 

Day told family members he was planning to spend the day at the Fryeburg Fair on Oct. 3, 1973, Maine State Police said in a social media post Wednesday. 

Day's father reported his son missing on Oct. 4, 1973. He has not been seen or heard from since. 

Maine State Police are asking anyone with information regarding Day's disappearance to contact its Major Crimes Unit-South in Gray. You can call them at 207-657-3030. You can also report information about the crime by leaving a tip here
