GREENBUSH, Maine — Three people face felony drug trafficking charges after Penobscot County law enforcement searched a home in Greenbush on Friday.
At approximately 5 p.m., the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team and Criminal Investigation Division conducted a search warrant at a home located at 1098 Main Rd., according to a release from the sheriff's office.
Investigators said they found a "large number of suspected drugs and evidence of drug trafficking" at the home and arrested three Greenbush residents:
- Monte Smith, 59, of Greenbush charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs (Class A felony).
- Shane Howe, 39, of Greenbush charged with trafficking of scheduled drugs (Class B felony).
- Andrea Carlow, 33, of Greenbush and Millinocket charged with trafficking of scheduled drugs (Class B felony). Carlow was also arrested on an active felony arrest warrant.
All three people were brought to the Penobscot County Jail.
