WATERBURY CENTER, Vt. — State police in Vermont are working with Maine law enforcement officials after tracing a bomb threat made against an event venue Friday night back to a Maine landline.
At approximately 7:52 p.m., Vermont State Police were alerted of a male caller who had made a bomb threat against Zenbarn located in Waterbury Center, Vermont, according to a news release from Vermont State Police.
At the time, Zenbarn was reportedly hosting a Vermont Democratic Party fundraiser, state police said. Most attendees had reportedly left by the time the threat was made. Police said no evidence of "suspicious devices" was found.
The call was traced back to a Maine landline, and Vermont State Police are now working with Maine law enforcement officials from the Oxford County Sheriff's Office.
