MANCHESTER, New Hampshire — Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, are working with the state attorney general's office to investigate the suspicious death of a man shot early Saturday morning.
According to a news release issued by the New Hampshire Department of Justice, Manchester police officers responded to 61 Lowell St. around 1:12 a.m. Nov. 18 for a reported car crash. Less than an hour later, they were called back to the same location for a reported shooting at 2:02 a.m.
When police arrived the second time, they found an adult man suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the release. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died hours later.
The release said there were no indications of any specific threat to the public at this time.
An investigation is ongoing.
