OXFORD COUNTY, Maine — The Oxford County Sheriff's Office arrested four individuals on Friday for trespassing at a Sumner cabin, including a man wanted for allegedly injuring a deputy earlier this month.

Kevin Litchfield has active federal and state warrants out for his arrest, according to a release from the sheriff's office. Deputies searched for Litchfield on Friday after receiving a tip he was staying "off the grid."

Officials found Litchfield and his girlfriend Cynthia Pelletier at a cabin off Kittredge Brook Road in Sumner. Both were trespassing on the property, owned by out-of-staters. The property appeared to be burglarized, officials said.

Litchfield is wanted for an incident that occurred earlier this month, which resulted in an Oxford County Deputy being dragged by the vehicle Litchfield was operating. Pelletier was a passenger during the time of the incident, according to the release. Litchfield had both a federal probation warrant and two state warrants for his arrest. He also has numerous charges including burglary and violation of bail.

Litchfield and Pelletier were arrested and transported to Oxford County Jail.

Pelletier, 54, was charged with criminal trespass, hindering prosecution, and violation of bail.

Two others inside the residence were also arrested. Jack Sisson, 50, was arrested for hindering apprehension and Christopher Waterman, 28, was arrested for hindering apprehension and violation of bail.
