BANGOR, Maine — Bangor police and other Maine law enforcement agencies are looking for a man and a woman who allegedly stole thousands of dollars in cash from multiple businesses across the state, since October.

Police are looking for Pardelian Muntean, 21, and Liana Moldovan, 34, according to a press release from the Bangor Police Department.

"The pair are entering stores and either purchasing gift cards or asking for large demonization bills to be broken into smaller bills, distracting the employee and using sleight-of-hand techniques when passing cash with the intent of deceiving the employee, then getting away with several hundred dollars at each location,” the release stated.
