BANGOR, Maine — Bangor police are searching for a suspect vehicle in a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian Thursday evening.
Just after 6:30 p.m., Bangor police and fire crews received a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Union Street near the Fourteenth Street intersection, according to a news release from the Bangor Police Department.
Police found a 46-year-old man from Bangor who had reportedly been struck by a vehicle and was later brought to a local hospital. He is in "stable condition," police said.
The suspect vehicle did not remain at the scene of the crash, and police are now searching for the vehicle.
