BANGOR, Maine — A man from Massachusetts allegedly punched a Bangor police cruiser after being denied entry to the Slightly Stoopid concert at Maine Savings Amphitheater on Saturday.

Kevin Reid, 30, of Braintree, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, Bangor police said Tuesday in a news release.

Reid was denied entry to the venue due to his level of intoxication, according to police.

As he was leaving the area, police say he punched a marked police cruiser. As he was being detained, he allegedly had a loud, profanity-laced outburst, according to the release.

Police said they spoke with several witnesses who said Reid was the one who punched the cruiser.

Saturday's show was headlined by Slightly Stoopid with Dirty Heads, featuring Common Kings and The Elovaters.
