ROCKLAND, Maine — Officials are conducting an arson investigation after discovering Molotov cocktail-type devices on railroad tracks in Rockland.
The Rockland Police Department said on social media Saturday police and the Rockland Fire & EMS Department responded to a report of a fire on railroad tracks near Pleasant Street around 6:30 p.m.
Molotov cocktail-type devices were found on the railroad tracks, police said.
The state fire marshal's office is now investigating the incident. Those with information are asked to call the Knox Regional Communications Center at 207-593-9132, ext. 4.
