CARMEL, Maine — A Carmel man was arrested late Wednesday morning after failing to stop for police and causing a short pursuit.
At about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Penobscot County sheriff's deputies tried to stop 29-year-old Garret Foss, who was operating a motorcycle with a suspended license, the sheriff's office said in a news release.
"Foss did not stop, but instead continued to drive to his residence," the release said.
Deputies were able to arrest Foss when he arrived at his Carmel home for failing to stop for a law enforcement officer, operating after suspension, and violation of conditional release, according to the release.
"When arrested, Foss was out on bail with two sets of active bail conditions," deputies said.
No additional details were released.
