(NEWS CENTER) Police in Bucksport are investigating a fatal crash between a pick up truck and a tractor trailer.
The accident happened around 9:30 p.m.Thursday on Route 1 near the Spring Mountain Motel.
Police say the driver of the pick-up, Stuart Leach, 25, of Penobscot, crashed head-on with a tractor trailer. He died at the scene.The other driver, Brent Theriault, was not hurt.
Investigators have reconstructed the scene are are still looking into why the trucks collided.State environmental officials were also on scene as the tractor trailer truck experienced fuel leakage.
