BANGOR, Maine — The Bangor Humane Society will be closed to the public on Monday, May 13 and Tuesday, May 14 as construction begins on the facility's renovation.
This is the first part of the renovation plan to remove the original Bangor Humane Society (red building next to the current Bangor Humane Society). This will make more for additional parking.
Back in March, they announced their capital campaign to raise 1.75 million to renovate.
The Humane Society will reopen on Wednesday, May 15 to the public for intakes and adoption.
