Like just about everything else this year, the holidays are looking different for 2020 as folks continue to navigate their way through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Holiday shopping is going to look quite different, too. While online shopping grows in popularity year to year, this year numbers are anticipated soar since many will be avoiding the stores to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
There's something extra important this year, also, to keep in mind while searching for that perfect holiday gift...shopping locally.
Small businesses in our towns and cities have taken a huge financial hit from the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately, many of those businesses have taken to the internet to offer their goods there.
