BANGOR, Maine — Meet Chance! This 3-year-old labrador retriever has a lot of energy and wants to find his forever home. Chance has been at the Bangor Humane Society for more than one year and has a lot of love to give to the right owner.
He can be shy at first but will come around to pats and scratches after spending a little time with someone.
Chance weighs 76 pounds and has a lot of energy. He is not fond of other pets, so he would be a perfect fit with an experienced dog owner and be the only animal in the house.
With his skittish nature around other dogs, he would be best suited to live in a rural area without much traffic. He also would like to only be taken on walks where he wouldn't run into other pets.
Chance is also known to be a bit of an escape artist, so close monitoring, a secure home, and owners willing to work on training will be key.
He is also open to children but would be best suited in a house with older kids and teenagers.
If you're interested in this sweet pup, you can head to the Bangor Humane Society Monday-Friday from 1-6 p.m. and Saturdays from 12-6 p.m. You can also call them at 207-942-8902 or send an email to adoption@bangorhumane.org.
