THOMASTON, Maine — At just seven months old Rabbit DeNiro has a long life ahead of him, and loves to give. He's currently at Pope Memorial Humane Society in Thomaston waiting to be adopted.

He's a Rex bunny, which can live six to eight years. Their breed is known for being docile and friendly.

Kasey Bielecki with Pope Memorial Humane Society said Rabbit DeNiro loves cats. In fact to quote her, "I mean he loves loves loves cats."

"He's a doll, you'll love him," Bielecki said.

This growing boy loves fresh vegetables and is very playful. DeNiro also loves people, so if you're looking to snuggle some seriously soft fur, he may be the pet for you.

Meet Rabbit DeNiro at Pope Memorial Humane Society at 25 Buttermilk Lane in Thomaston. They're open Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. They're closed on Sundays and the third Wednesday of each month. You can also give them a call ahead of time at 207-594-0254.

February 24th, their lobby will be closed for maintenance, but it won't prevent them from making an adoption. Just be sure to call ahead.
