PORTLAND, Maine — It's a tongue that loves to kiss and hang out of her mouth while the window is down on car rides over to our studio. The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland says this mix is about 2 years old, and she is ready for a family that enjoys adventure.
Carmen is a big sniffer and likes to explore the world around her. She's also incredibly attentive to those willing to give her pets, treats, or snuggles. The way she looks at you will make you feel like the most special person in her life, even if she looks at everyone she meets that way.
Carmen pulls a little bit on leash walks, but with treats she can likely be trained more on that front. She loves other dogs, though they always recommend an introduction with any other pets you may already have at home. They also aren't sure how she is with cats or kids, having never tested her with either.
Whether you're planning a hike, a run, or some fun at the park, Carmen is ready to join you.
