Their comics are ribald and riotous. Andy O'Brien and Hanji Chang make up O'Chang Comics. Andy is an editor of the Free Press in Rockland. Hanji is a freelance graphic artist, illustrator and painter.
The couple met when Andy was playing in a punk band and Hanji was living in her native Taiwan. They married and moved to Andy's hometown of Rockland where he was a member of the Maine Legislature.
Hanji went to the Maine College of Art. For a project, they decided to animate one of their comics. Temp Tales was born. These are stories from when Andy worked for a temp agency.
Some of the language is rough and offensive to some. However, young people especially find it very funny and shocking. Others think it is the best Down East humor ever done.
