BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) --
By now, most of us have heard the song and NBC News has too.
They liked it so much that they came up here to find out why we're so frustrated with the way people say "Bangor."
Harry Smith and his crew started the day off with an appearance on Voice of Maine this morning.
Then they headed over to Dysart's on Broadway where they talked to folks who appeared in the video about the city.
During their conversations, Smith learned what it means to be from away.
He also got to try some giant blueberry pancakes.
But of course, we had to ask him how he prepared for the problem we've all been talking about lately, the weather.
"I spend my life travelling so I go to all corners of the country and all corners of the Earth, he said." I've got pocket warmers if I need them, I have toe warmers if I need them and I've got a fur hat so I'm good to go."
NBC says the plan right now is to air the piece on NBC Nightly News next Monday.
