Chick-fil-A issues recall of Polynesian sauce dipping cups due to allergy concerns

Maine has two Chick-fil-A locations: Westbrook and Bangor.

ATLANTA — Polynesian sauce lovers beware -- Chick-fil-A has issued a recall of all its Polynesian sauce dipping cups over allergy concerns.

In an alert issued on the Chick-fil-A website and app to customers on Wednesday, the Atlanta-based fast-food chain warned people who took home Polynesian sauce dipping containers from their restaurants from Feb. 14 through Feb. 27 to throw them out due to cups that "may contain a different sauce that includes wheat and soy allergens."
